Warranty Policy

Shopfasta Limited Warranty Policy

This Limited Warranty applies to physical goods purchased from Shopfasta. Shopfasta is not liable for incidental damages arising from breaches of express or implied warranties. Shopfasta reserves the right to modify the warranty period and terms at its discretion.

What This Limited Warranty Covers

This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials or manufacturing under normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Shopfasta will, at no charge, repair or replace products or parts found to have material or manufacturing defects during normal use and maintenance within this period.

What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover

• Accidental damage, improper use, negligence, abuse, inadequate maintenance, or mishandling.
• Defects from usage not in accordance with the operations or instruction manual.
• Defects caused by voltage fluctuations or instability.
• Damage from environmental exposure or conditions exceeding normal wear.
• Defects from mechanical or physical loads beyond the product’s intended use.
• Damage during transit outside Dar es Salaam (transporter liability applies; disputes are between the customer and transporter).
• Defects caused by rust, corrosion, scaling, bacterial deposits, water spillage, or household pests.
• Damage from unusual external factors, such as lightning or natural disasters.
• Replacement of spare parts (e.g., knobs, handles, lights, buttons, plates, switches, cables, coils, compressors) damaged or lost due to misuse, negligence, or accident.
• Faults from normal wear and degradation.
• Damage due to intentional acts or gross negligence.
• Theft or loss.

Conditions

This warranty is void if:

• Repairs are attempted by unauthorized persons.
• The product’s original design or functionality is altered.
• Modifications are made to meet local voltage or safety standards.
• The warranty card or receipt is damaged, defaced, or tampered with.
• The serial or model number is tampered with or removed.
• The product is used for unintended purposes (e.g., commercial use for a domestic product).

Claims will not be accepted without the original warranty card or receipt. If an authorized service center confirms a manufacturing defect, the product will be repaired free of charge, replacing only faulty parts unless necessary. The product must be delivered to the service center at the owner’s expense, risk, and responsibility. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It is valid only for products sold and used in Tanzania.

How to Submit a Claim

Contact Shopfasta to determine eligibility for a free repair or replacement. If ineligible, repairs may be performed at an authorized service center for a fee.

A warranty is a type of guarantee specifying the conditions under which repairs or replacements will be made if the product does not function as intended.
